Servers 0/00/000 problems lately

Postby Dax » Sat Feb 13, 2010 2:23 pm

This week, servers 0/00/000 have been going down a lot, and I can't seem to use any of the others for west coast AION servers (when I try to log in, I get the "you cannot log in from this IP address" errors).

A) Are these problems temporary?

B) Are there other servers that I can use that aren't IP blocked? It is tedious to change servers so it takes at least a few minutes just to check if I can log in from a server.

Hi Dax,

Allow me to address these problems.

A) Gate0/00/000 are the same servers. If there is issues you can switch to other server. Usually such problems are temporary and we're monitoring the cause for the outage.

B) Our servers are not IP blocked. You get that error because you are using the older config of Proxifier. If you use the latest config it will not have this error. This is because Aion does not allow 3rd party servers to login. Our config will allow you to login with your own IP before sending game traffic through our servers for lowered latency.

I'm using WideCap.. Is there a way to update WideCap to use other IPs?

Unfortunately not at this moment but our own software is coming soon which will work besides Widecap.
The other alternative is to use Proxifier. Can you give it a shot? Make sure you uninstall wIdecap first though.

I'd rather not buy more software, sorry. :(
