Yesterday as I randomly spoke with a player in WoW in the Kel'Thuzad server, I found out he lived in Brazil just like me. We talked for a while and I wondered how he managed to play with higher pings. He said he used to have pings of 500-600 and that he now had 250 avg pings. I asked how that had happened and he said he used "tunneling". I wondered what he meant by that, and he just told me to access the gamepath.net website to check it out.

At first I thought it was that same bulls*** some other website say that they lower your ping and give you this and that. But I decided to give it a try anyway, I had nothing to lose.
So I installed, everything worked perfectly, and I used the trial to see how it worked. Logged in WoW and all I saw was that Green Computer icon. :O
Pings used to vary from 320-420 and now were bouncing from 160-190.
I just got a 5 day trial code, and if for the next five days the service works perfectly, Gamepath will have another customer for sure.

You posted in the wrong thread. Please post in the relevant sub forums as sometimes we do not pay as much attention to the testimonial section compared to the technical support section of the forums.

Anyway for your case maybe you should be using our USA servers to play WOW as the local Malaysia servers are only meant for Malaysians who have issues connecting overseas. We are aware of problematic connections for Malaysian users but that is the nature of their ISP and it is mostly beyond our control.

I was wondering why it was that I was getting 1000+ms in WoW (US-Caelestrasz, Los Angeles data center) when my connection was fine everywhere else (2.5Mb from Manila, Philippines). A tracert to Caelestrasz said it all - I was getting massive lag with my normal route out of the country as soon as it hit the AT&T routers.

After shopping around with the other tunneling services, I decided to give Gamepath's trial a go. I couldn't believe it. Along with my jaw, my latency dropped from around 900ms average to 180ms. In Dalaran. On a Saturday afternoon. After one hour of doing dailies and the connection barely even hitting 190ms, I signed up for the 90-day plan immediately. Two raids (Gamepath being directly responsible for our raid's first Rotface kill - I was the crucial slime tank where lag = death!), about five full Wintergrasps, and an entire weekend of flawless service later, you can bet I'll most likely be a lifetime subscriber.

I can't imagine playing with worse than a green connection from now on. I can't thank you guys enough, you've revitalized my love for WoW, and I hate how I've become a fanboy literally overnight.

Edit: I was on gate5 over the weekend but today it was doing 300ish ms, so I switched to gate4 and got 200ms steady.

I think I'm on the verge of crying. I've been a WoW player for the past 4 years and the best latency I've seen was 500-600ms. I'm based out of Dubai and we're on the Level 3 Pipeline which has a LOT of horrible DCs on its hops.

I've had to miss raids for the past 10 days because of my ping sitting at 3000ms because one of the hops was lagging. Gamepost installed, Path 1 connected. 183ms. I can't believe my eyes. 1...8...3... My cast bars are now actually synced with my spells. I can't tell you how happy I am and you have a fulltime customer.

Thanks! <3
